On 11 January Global Centre Executive Director Savita Pawnday delivered evidence at a hearing held by the United Kingdom’s (UK) House of Commons International Development Committee. The hearing was focused on the UK’s atrocity prevention efforts around the globe. Ms. Pawnday’s remarks centered around successes and failures of the responsibility to protect, as well as how the UK can better leverage their influence and work more effectively to prevent atrocities at home and abroad.
