Resolution 76/177 (DPRK) A/RES/76/177

On 16 December 2021 the UN General Assembly adopted Resolution 76/177 on the situation in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) by consensus. Resolution 76/177 condemns the systematic, widespread and gross violations of human rights in the DPRK, including those that amount to crimes against humanity, encourages the UN Security Council to refer the situation to the International Criminal Court, and recalls that the DPRK government bears the responsibility to protect its population.
