Resolution 37/31 (South Sudan) A/HRC/RES/37/31

23 March 2018

On 23 March 2018 the UN Human Rights Council passed Resolution 37/31 on South Sudan. The resolution extends the mandate of the Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan for a period of one year. Resolution 37/31 also “recalls that the Government of South Sudan has the responsibility to protect all of its population in the country from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity.”
