On 31 July 2021 Global Centre Executive Director, Dr. Simon Adams, was interviewed by CBS News regarding the situation in Ethiopia‘s northern Tigray region. Dr. Adams discussed the grave humanitarian situation in Tigray, because of which the UN Children’s Fund warned that 100,000 children could starve to death over the next year, and urges all sides to agree to a humanitarian ceasefire.
