In this episode, we sat down with Omar Shakir, Israel and Palestine Director for Human Rights Watch (HRW). During the episode, Omar discusses government attempts to derail HRW’s work in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including his deportation from the country in 2019, and HRW’s recent reporting that the Israeli government’s policies and practices amount to the crime of apartheid.
