The Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect published the following Policy Brief following a series of attacks upon populations throughout Nigeria’s Plateau State that occurred on 7 March 2010. The Policy Brief approaches the situation in Plateau State through the R2P lens, discusses the history of the situation in Nigeria and analyzes the responses of government and international actors to the situation.
