Internships
Founded in February 2008 by five leading international non-governmental organizations, GCR2P acts as a catalyst to promote and apply the norm of the “responsibility to protect” populations from genocide, war crimes, ethnic cleansing, and crimes against humanity. Through its programs, events and publications, the Centre is a resource and a forum for governments, international institutions and non-governmental organizations on prevention and early action to halt mass atrocities.
The internships are unpaid and can be full-time or part-time (minimum of 20 hours per week).
Interested applicants should submit a cover letter, resume and a brief writing sample (3-5 pages maximum) on a related topic. Be sure to indicate your approximate start date. The Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect has filled all internship positions through August 2012. Applications can be emailed to Jaclyn Streitfeld-Hall at: internships@globalr2p.org
